Stepper issue and leveling - slammers - 02-01-2020
From new, my printer has had issues with the stepper. If I manual move the head, sometimes it sounds like the stepper is stalling. It vibrates the entire machine. It is worse going up than down. I suspect the lead screw is not aligned properly or the lead screw nut is to tight. Has anyone had this issue and have a fix?

I have printed a couple parts and they seem ok, but on my fourth part, the printer started beeping when it does the first 10 layers or so.
I tried re-doing the leveling procedure and when the plate gets a 5 mm above the LCD it starts beeping.
I tried to manual move the z height so the plate spring is only depressed slightly and then use that Set Z function. but the Set Z seems to have no effect. If I press the goto Z, it goes further than I set and it again starts beeping.
Has anyone had this issue and know a solution?
