Firmware update FAILURE
#1
Hi all,

Attempted to update my firmware to current so I could use my slicer again. Went to the website and Downloaded the update for my machine...and followed the instructions. I downloaded Latest Firmware V4.4.3-F2.14 and then did the following. Print the files on the printer to update, please following this order: .SH4 > .CBD > .txt

I run the .SH4 file and as soon as it completed, my z axis runs all the way to the top of the machine and will not stop. The machine then says that the .cbd and .txt files do not exist.

Great...So glad I did this.

I go to the Forums and find there is a different file to run...so I download that one, get the correct .bin go the the machine and now I am getting a file type not recognized.

Updating firmware should not be this hard.

Anyone have any suggestions? I would rather not trash the machine...It is still fairly new and lightly used.
