Print issue - not printing at all
#1
Just picked up a Mars 2 Pro and I'm having an issue. Haven't seen another post here describing the problem.

It won't print.

So I did the setup. Levelled the build platform, set the Z axis home position, test the LCD to make sure it works. Everything seems fine.

I put the resin in the tank, loaded the Rook.ctb file to test print.

The build platform lowers into the tank, and then just sits there, making loud noises and staying at 1% for 20-30 minutes. No movement, nothing changing on the screen.

I've tried it three times now, with no changes.

Any ideas what is going on here?

I'm having the same issue. I have realigned the build platform multiple times, but when I go to print:

1. The machine produces a loud hum
2. The elapsed timer begins counting (bottom middle)
3. The time to print time is never displayed (remains at -h-m)
4. The progress never proceeds past 0, even when waiting for 20-30 minutes
5. The pictures of the level being printed are not displayed and the level counter never advances.
6. The build plate never moves.

There are no error messages displayed. All it does is sit there and hum/buzz.

Yesterday, I mistakenly ran the exposure test with the build plate in the goo and got the elegoo symbol/etc from the test on the build plate which I had to scape off, which I considered a successful test of the LCD/Resin and build plate adherence.

It will not print the rooks, or print the cylinder test from the Chitubox software.

Any ideas?
