i tried to get rid of a resin leak on lcd and a transparent film peeled off...is this a polarizer or a screen protection?

Could be either--do a test print; if it was the polarizing layer you will know soon enough

Old Post i know, but, thats just a screen protector,  the polarising layer is like a tinted film, and it wouldn't come off like that  it comes off in tiny pieces..hard to remove, but fairly  easy to damage..
