Build plate glued to the printer
#1
Good morning

I have an ELEGOO MARS 2 PRO. It has been working very well for the last 4 months. Now I can't remove the build plate from the printer. Apparently it has stuck, although I have always been careful to clean it well of possible resin remains. How can I release it without damaging the printer? Is there anything I can do?

Many thanks!

Ouch ! did you press 'clean' with the plate in the tank?

unscrew tank , raise and remove tank and build plate together.

drain resin , wash to make handling easier , then carefully peel tank away from build plate ,

scrape cured resin from plate .

No, the Plate is not glued to the tank but to the arm that is moving through the rail. I cant take it away from...

Oh!

There is a millimeter or two clearance between the rectangular socket and the Z lever. If you unscrew the knob completely you should be able to carefully twist/rock/knock the mounting free .

How did the resin get that far up?
