Elegoo Saturn Will Not Print Update
#1
Hello All

I now know why my new Elegoo Saturn is not printing.

I leveled the build plate.

Then raised the build plate up 30 MM

Then I selected a file to print xyz.ctb

The build plate  moved down to the Home position.

The screen showed file 1%

A few minutes and the screen showed 2% and the build plate moved up a few MM

Then that when I knew what was wrong.

I had no UV LEDS on

The file will never print without the UV LEDS on.

I ran several exposure tests and the UV LEDS came on.

Not when Printing

So I think I have a bad Board.

How do I fix this?

Please Help

Thank you

Tom

Maybe you got it already fixed, but still I give it a try. I assume you couldn't find any cured resin floating around the resinvat after the printjob.
An important thing is to have a clean buildplate (clean it with acetone and let it dry, before starting a printjob)
Another important thing is to have correct exposure time set for the "burn-in"-layers. These layers are ment to stick to the metal buildplate. By default, this is about 5 or 6 times longer than "normal"-layers.
Next is the speed the buildplate is lifted up and going back down into the resinvat. For me, in the beginning I used as burn-in" layer exposure time roughly 40 seconds for a 100 micron-layer.

If you use Lychee Slicer, you can download all kind of tested profiles from other people with identical printer.

Hope this info helps you a bit.
