Not sticking to the build plate, something to be aware of.

Hi all, got my Saturn 2 yesterday had had fun trying to set it up nothing would stick the the plate.
After some fafing i re-leveld the plate and found that the left and right edges were fine but the middle was not sticking at all.
I was going to take peeps advice and rough up the build surface, but befor i did this i had a look at the build plate, glad i did i put a straight edge against it and the plate was NOT flat in the slightest. i had 0.6mm dip in the middle of the plate.
After a bit of linishing on a bit of glass with some 200 grit 2 hours later i had a flat slightly rougher build plate
So if you are having touble have a quick look and make sure its not you but the plate.

Update
So after trying the scuff it up method it still did not stick in the middle of the build plate.
I have just completed my first succesfull print over the whole of the plate. This is after linishing it flat.
everything very well stuck...if not a little bit too well, and that just perfect.
Time to sit down relax and have a cuppa.
