Hello all,
I hope someone can help me here. Even though I'm a bit confused that there don't seem to be any posts for the Mars 3.
But first about my problem:
I have noticed with a quite flat print (1mm), printed smoothly on the printing plate, that instead of 1000µm print thickness I have reached about 1400µm.
I quickly drew a test object (see attachment) to see where the error was. The first 10 layers are printed as a "staircase". It was obvious that the first layer was 350-400µm high instead of the required 50µm.
So I always have a start layer that is about 300µm too high.
Does anyone have any idea what the reason for this might be?
I always level the printing plate according to the instructions with an A4 sheet before each print.
Best regards
Christian
