Build Plate won’t tighten
#1
Just got my printer and did my first test print of the rook. It took 4 hours to print (I think from YouTubes Ive seen it should have been more like 2-1/2, but that’s another issue). When the print was done, the rook was deformed as though it shifted during print. That’s when I noticed the build plate was tilted. I had done the leveling process per the manual and several YouTube videos. It seems no matter how tight I make the set screws the build plate angle does not lock and not move. I’m assuming I have a defective build plate. I’m going to contact Egeloo, but thought I’d ask the forum as I don’t see this exact situation listed.

Thanks for your patience if this has been answered and I missed it

did you try to disassemble and reassemble the buildplate?

Ok, sorry for the false alarm. I found this issue on reddit and apparently you really have to tighten these screws hard. This explains why there are so many posts about stripping the screws. I gave it 3 grunts of torque and now it seems solid. Thanis
