USB PORT NOT WORKING

Just opened my new Mars and inserted the usb stick and get nothing.  No test files to print or even and flashing lights on the usb stick.  I inserted the usb stick into my laptop and it light up and shows files on it.   Any thoughts?

Also I removed bottom plate and usb cable is connected internally

did you try another stick? are there some presliced files on the stick?

my usb didn't work either and can't be read so can't get the files off of it and there was nowhere to download them either, usb stick issues seem to be a massive problem with this model as I've seen hundreds of posts about it
