Pro firmware update
#1
I got the pro with USB stick which contains a gcode file and a cbd file

Now with the non-pro you apparently 'print'  the gcode file with changes (fan only on when priting for example) to upload the new code but with the pro, no such thing it seems (only thing that happens is that the Z-axis moves up)

Any advise ?

Cheers,

do you like to show us the gcode file from the stick?
would be nice, to have a look on it.

your "settings-file" looks nearly the same like the file for the "none-pro".
cause i don't have a Pro, i can not check/test it, but is is possible, that Elegoo locked the changing of settings in the Pro (?)
did you try some changes ? what happend after installing the changed gcode ?
what is the file-name of the gcode (mine is "ChiTu Mainboard SpecificationV3.0.9" )

Any update on this please guys as I have just purchased the Pro version and am keen to know if the fan can be turned off when not printing?

Hi there,

just tried the change file.
Simply make the desired changes in the gcode file an than just "print" it.
After a restart I was able to change the fan behavior.

Happy printing
