LCD Replacement
#1
I bought a replacement LCD for my Mars after I goobered up the first one.

I followed the instructional video and ran into two problems.
1) The cable for the new LCD didn't adhere to the board like in the video
2) When I finally did manage to get everything back together, it doesn't work at all. I'm running the test exposure and it's just wide open. Not showing the test box. I tried running a test print and instead of the rooks, it just printed a solid box.

So now what?

did you plug it in in the right direction? please show us a picture of the old and the new screen (because there are two versions if MIP-connector)
 - if youn don't plug it correct or in the wrong way, you would "grill" your mainboard.

and show us the printed part (and the *.stl)

I went back at the task with fresh eyes and saw that the ribbon cable was kinked in the wrong direction, flexing it away from the board. One quick nudge in the right direction and I'm back to printing.
