Weird cross-hatch layers on multiple prints
#1
I have experienced this on 2 different prints. In the image you can see where I tried the same file 3 times and it always happened in the same place. The model on the left is a new file and had the same issue. It appears to happen around the same layers too (I think around layer 200). It produces this weird pattern for a couple layers, ripping some of the model in the process and then just continues on. I cant find any issues with the print file itself, but I did print another file between these two with no issues at all.

Any ideas?

Edit: After some further experimenting it seems the weird printed areas are actually chunks of layers that get offset for some reason.

Update:

So apparently the original Mars had a bug like this, and it happens on the Mars Pro. I've been given an updated firmware that seems to fix the problem. I'll keep an eye on the next few prints though.
