Failed prints post FEP replacement
#1
Hello,

I just replaced the FEP on my Elegoo Mars Pro after the first one was damaged.
I replaced it with "FEP Release Film Liner for ELEGOO Mars LCD 3D Printer".
Thickness 0.15mm.
Recalibrated the plate and proceeded to printing.
My first print after replacing the FEP went OK even though I heard sounds of the cured resin separating from the FEP each time the plate rose.
The second print was awful and I had to terminate it mid-print. A lot of cured resin was stuck to the FEP.
I have no idea why. I used the same resin and setting for both prints. The only difference is what was printed

I used Elegoo's "Standard Photopolymer Resing" Maroon as resin.
Settings for the above mentioned prints:
Bottom layer count: 5
Exposure time: 8s
Bottom exposure time: 60s
Lifting distance: 7mm
Bottom lift distance: 8mm
Bottom lift speed: 100mm/min
Lifting speed: 100mm/min
Retract speed 150 mm/min

Thank you,
Grupman

Reduce the lifting speeds to 60 mm/min and 75 mm/min (bottom) Chitubox's default lift speeds are too aggressive...
