Won’t start printing
#1
I bought an elegoo Mars 2 printer and managed to get a couple of successful prints.  Unfortunatly on the last print, I managed to punch a whole in the bottom of the vat and had to replace the film.  Did that and tried to print again. Everything looked good and the plate descended into the resin, but then nothing happened accept I could hear something like a motor humming.  Print never started.  I killed the process after a minute for fear that I might be damaging something.  No images were displayed on the LCD.

Any ideas about what to look for?  Is this motor sound normal when trying to print the first layer?   Should I have waited it out?

The motor should turn off once the first layer has begun printing--are you 110% certain the build platform Z-Axis calibration is correct?
