Food Safe Sealer / Coating

I was planning on making a whistle and realized that most resins are not "Food Safe" after being cured. I am using Siraya Tech Non-Brittle 3D Printing Resin. Has anyone tried using a sealer or food safe coating on resin?

If you do a google search for food safe coatings, there are lots of different options, a lot of which are silicone sprays, but there are others.

If you're just making a whistle, I don't think there would be too much concern with it though, at least there wouldn't be for me.
