Z-axis Lubricant Recommendations, Please
#1
Hello All,

Its time for me to lubricate my z-axis for the first time since purchasing my Mars Pro. I am looking for recommendations on reliable products, or things to look for in a quality 3d printing lubricant.

Links appreciated.

Super Lube PTFE grease. Home Depot stocks it too:

Don't let the "silicone" part scare you off, it has only enough of that so they can market it as such and thus appeal to the ill-informed. I have used it for years on all sorts of precision instruments with never a problem. Use a "Q-tip" to apply just a bit to the screw and rails of the z-axis.

It's also a damn good dielectric grease for keeping moisture out of and preventing corrosion within crimped terminals and spade connectors. I use it on my motorcycles and cars each time I have a connector apart.
