Power Issue

I have had the Mars now for about a year, I've mastered changing the fep film and LCD  screen. However something has started to happen and I'm at a loss, it won't turn on. The power cable shows power with it led light, but nothing on the unit itself. 
Any suggestions and feed back would be great, at least a pointer as to which direction to go look

Check the voltage at the male co-axial connector, it should be +12V (center positive)...
