Ethyl Alcool , why not ?

I really do not understand why people use IPA or Mean Green while there is a very effective and safe product as Ethyl Alcool .

I usually buy for other purposes 99,9 %  Ethyl Alcool , 50 liters and it cost me 2,92 Euro per liter.

It is perfect for removing Uv resin and it is one of the most safer solvents for health.

Best I can buy it for over here is €8.72/l (US $40/gallon). 99% IPA is about €6/l. This COVID nonsense has driven prices of such things through the roof; pre-pandemic I was buying 99% IPA for US$2.5/qt. (€1.99/l)...
