Gaps appearing in models that have printed fine in the past
#1
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, and can suggest solutions.

I've had my Mars for about 6 months, and printed hundreds of models and objects without issue.

But for my last few attempts I've been getting gaps appearing in the models where parts of the model aren't sticking together anymore (Image below of one of the misprints). This is printing models from files that printed fine last week, and I have not changed any settings.

I've tried 2 different resins, both of which were fine last week, and changed the FEP film, but the problem still persists for any model I've tried to print this week.

How old is your printer, or more importantly how many hours have you used it?

If > 250 to 300 hours use the LCD screen has likely gone bad, reducing effective exposure times. Sometime the failure mode occurs in an accumulation of individual pixels causing an overall reduction in light transmission; rather than in dramatic and easily identified clusters of dead pixels.
